I was doing my normal Monday routine; sitting at work drinking an energy drink and catching up with my rss reader. I normally don’t read my rss feeds on the weekend and try to do my best to semi unplug to clear my head on the weekends. Also I am 23 and single so I like to go out and have some fun on the weekends.As I was going through my reader I was getting caught up and got to the feed for Internet Marketing Blog with Josh Spaulding. I just recently subscribed to his feed, I found it mentioned on another blog and liked it. He had a contest Easy Blog Contest - $350, Books and Free Coaching. I really liked his idea for the contest to enter you had to answer 3 questions (and the usual subscribe to his feed):
- If you had $10,000 to invest in your Business, what would you invest it in? This could be one thing or any number of things.
- What is your breaking point? In other words, what would cause you to quit trying to create a full-time income online?
- What are your three main priorities in life? (most important to least important)
I liked the questions he asked they are very creative. To win the contest Josh picks the 3 answers he likes the most.
To my Surprise this morning I won 1st place. It was a cool way to start the Monday work week. So what did I win? - $200.00 Cash, “Purple Cow” by Seth Godin, Free Coaching via email by Josh until March 1, 2008. I know it does not compete with Gyutae winning the Elite Retreat ticket but it still was cool in my book.
I wanted to share my answers that won the contest and I would like to hear your answers to these questions.
- If I had $10,000 to invest I would be lost. I have only been blogging a little over a month. I would use it mostly for promoting and link building over a period of time.
- There is no breaking point for me. I know I will not stop even if it is a part time thing.
- Number 1 would be my family, number 2 being a good person, and number 3 making something of myself
